Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Please the main manuscript is free from any indication of author's name or details. This is for double-blind peer review.
  • The name of author, co-authors (if any), affiliation, contact numbers, email address and title of the article shall appear on the cover/title page.
  • Ensure that the manuscript adheres to the stylistic and referencing requirements (APA 7th Edition) outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Name of author, co-authors (if any), affiliation, contact numbers, email address and title of the article shall appear on the cover/title page. The full manuscript consists of title of the article, body text, tables, figures and references only (Please compile all in one document).
  2. All manuscripts shall be original and not under consideration for any publication elsewhere.
  3. Manuscript shall be written in English only, Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font size 12, double spacing, A4 size paper, and have a 1” margin all round.
  4. Manuscript shall contain an Abstract between 150 to 250 words.
  5. Manuscript together with its references shall be between 10 to 15 pages.
  6. Manuscript shall conform to the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition styles of writing and formatting.
  7. Please include a minimum of three (3) keywords. 
  8. Each manuscript will be double-blind reviewed by two reviewers and the decision conveyed to the authors the soonest possible.

Author License Policy
Authors grant the National Association of Special Education (Malaysia) an exclusive license to publish their original research papers, and to reproduce, recreate, extract and distribute worldwide in various languages, forms, formats and media.
